Birds, Bats and Bushfire Recovery

As part of Council’s monthly Bushfire Recovery Community Meeting, Bat Expert, Lindy Lumsden, and Stuart Dashper from Birds Australia will share their knowledge about these intriguing animals and how they recover after bushfire events.

Lindy Lumsden will discuss how bats can contribute to farm productivity by controlling pest insects.

Stuart Dashper will discuss how residents can contribute to the Birds Australia surveys of the bushfire affected areas and contribute to valuable research to help birds recover.
