Artworks from 52 local artists of all abilities, ages, and cultural backgrounds are part of ‘My Changing Landscape’, a contemporary art exhibition which features three awards and a Mayor’s Choice Art Award.
Works have been submitted by artists with culturally diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal, Iraqi, Greek, Italian, Maltese and the works include paintings, poems, photography, sculpture, jewellery, craft, installation and mosaic.
The theme of ‘My Changing Landscape’ has particularly invited work from fire affected artists and those in the community who wish to respond to the recent bushfires, but it is not limited to this subject.
The exhibition is open from Wednesday 11-18 November 2009 from 11am -4pm in the Great Hall, City of Whittlesea Council Offices, Ferres Boulevard, South Morang.
