Place Profiles

We have prepared the Place Profiles report to provide a demographic profile of geographic areas in the municipality.

The report aims to develop an understanding of the communities within the municipality by providing a collection of statistical data on current residents and population forecasts for each place.

Household Survey report

Our household survey collects information from a representative sample of households throughout the City of Whittlesea.

It covers a range of topics including:

  • education and employment
  • transportation
  • cultural and leisure activities
  • housing
  • access to services
  • shopping trends.

The survey provides us with detailed information that supplements the ABS Census of Population and Housing, conducted every 5 years.

The results helps us understand the specific needs of our residents, enabling us to plan and improve services and facilities effectively.

Community Attitudes and Liveability survey

Our Community Attitudes and Liveability (CAL) Survey captures data on individual residents' behaviour, attitudes and opinions about living in the City of Whittlesea on topics such as:

  • safety
  • transport
  • community participation
  • financial security
  • environment
  • gambling.

The data from this survey is invaluable in spotting new trends and shaping our advocacy work.

It helps us with strategic planning, policy making and designing services that meet the current and future needs of our community.
