Budget 2024-2025
Our Annual Budget 2024–25 represents a financially responsible and sustainable investment in the delivery of core services and infrastructure investment that is critical in supporting our growing local community.
Key Highlights of the Budget 2024-25
- Commencing construction of the Regional Sports Precinct in Mernda
- Completing the construction of the Aboriginal Gathering Place
- Continuing the construction of the Granite Hills Major Community Park
- Continuing the construction of Patterson Drive Community Centre in Donnybrook
- Completing the design and construction of the West Wollert Community Centre
- Continuing the upgrade of Peter Hopper Lake in Mill Park; and
- Commencing construction of the Doreen Splash Park and Playground.
The Budget 2024–25 has been prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. The Budget aims to continue Council's commitment to invest in services and infrastructure in a financially responsible way by balancing the needs of our community while achieving long term financial sustainability.
