Rosco’s journey: From pound to loving home

When Rosco first arrived at the wat djerring Animal Facility, he was shy dog, but with the care and attention of the dedicated team, he soon blossomed.

Rosco, with his playful nature, boundless energy and love for cuddles captured everyone’s hearts and made him a favourite among the staff.

Whittlesea resident Donna visited the facility and was also taken by Rosco’s fun personality.

"The team at the wat djerring Animal Facility were incredibly friendly and supportive, helping us find our forever fur baby, Rosco. He has settled in beautifully and brings so much joy with his loving temperament and playful energy."

The wat djerring Animal Facility is managed in partnership with Merri-bek and Darebin councils.

At the facility, we: 

• reunite lost pets with their owners

• care for lost, stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals

• promote pet wellbeing and responsible pet ownership

• offer an adoption service to give animals a new start.
