Whittlesea Skate Park and BMX Track upgrade

Three children are at the Whittlesea Skate Park. Two hold their scooters and look at the camera, and another one rides the ramp in the background on their bike

An upgrade for people of all abilities

We're excited to welcome the newly upgraded Whittlesea Skate Park and BMX Track.

This space has been redesigned with skaters and riders of all abilities in mind, offering a fantastic venue to practice and enjoy.

We’re proud to provide a space that not only meets the needs of our community but also places Whittlesea at the forefront of local skate and BMX culture.

Come visit and see how these new facilities encourage active, fun and community-oriented recreation.

What's been done?

Thanks to invaluable feedback from our local young residents, we've added several new features including:

  • open bowl
  • fun box
  • quarter pipes
  • asphalt pump track
  • street style section
  • additional shelter and social spaces.

What's still to come?

After completing the first phase of improvements in late 2022, we're now planning the second stage.

This will include a new BMX track suitable for intermediate and advanced riders, further expanding the park's offerings.
