Big Group Hug

In Australia, 1 in 6 children live below the poverty line, often going without basic necessities like soap, shampoo, and blankets. Many families face impossible choices between essential items and paying for groceries or rent, and some are on the brink of homelessness.

Big Group Hug is a registered charity dedicated to supporting these families by providing essential items such as clothing, toiletries, toys, prams, car seats, and infant formula. By alleviating financial pressures, we help parents allocate their limited resources toward food, bills, and safe housing.

In the past year alone, Big Group Hug has provided aid to 6,705 children and successfully diverted 110.5 tons of textiles and usable children’s items from landfill. As the need continues to grow, we remain committed to our mission.
