Thinking of launching your own business? Find helpful resources and tools at these sites.

• Learn about all aspects of running your business such as starting up, business plans and marketing at Small Business Victoria. 
• The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) offers workshops to help you learn about record keeping and business tax basics to keep your records in order from the start.
• If you are not in employment, education or training and are interested in running your own business, you may be eligible for the Federal Government's New Business Assistance program. The program is part of the government's New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS).
• Small Business Mentoring Service is a not-for-profit providing general advice around running a business as well as industry-specific insights.
• Each year the Australian Government offers 1000 places to its Exploring Being My Own Boss workshop.
• Stepping Stones to Small Business is a small business training and support initiative for women of refugee, migrant, and asylum seeker backgrounds. It is hosted by Brotherhood of St Laurence.
