I have been a proud resident of the City of Whittlesea since 1968, living with my family in Lalor.

I began my career with the Railways in 1977 and have dedicated 47 years to this industry. As a long-time member of the Rail, Tram, and Bus Union, I served as a Divisional Secretary on the Executive until 2023.

I am a graduate of Thomastown Secondary College and since 2001, I have served on the School Council at the College and have been School Council President for 22 years. In March 1997, I was elected as an endorsed ALP Councillor for the City of Whittlesea and served for 22 years, including two terms as Mayor.

Over these years as a resident and Councillor, I’ve witnessed the City of Whittlesea’s remarkable growth and understand the vital services and infrastructure needed to support its expanding population.
