All developments must take steps to ensure Council and community assets like footpaths, kerb and channel, vehicle crossovers, nature strips and trees are protected.

The Infrastructure Protection Permit details conditions and processes for safe building practices across a range of development types.

Developments requiring an Infrastructure Protection Permit

These developments need an Infrastructure Protection Permit:

  • additional unit to an existing dwelling
  • two or more unit developments
  • commercial development
  • industrial development
  • mixed use developments.
