Donnybrook-Woodstock Precinct Structure Plan
The Donnybrook-Woodstock Precinct Structure Plan sets out the planned development of a residential and commercial area expected to provide 16,400 new homes over several decades.
About the precinct structure plan
The Donnybrook-Woodstock Precinct Structure Plan covers the residential and commercial development of a large area that falls into both the City of Whittlesea and the Shire of Mitchell.
The land is located north of Donnybrook Road, between the Melbourne-Sydney railway line and Merriang Road. It covers approximately 1,786 hectares and is expected to allow for more than 16,400 houses over the next few decades.
The precinct structure plan was prepared by the Victorian Planning Authority, in partnership with the City of Whittlesea and Mitchell Shire Council.
The Donnybrook-Woodstock Precinct Structure Plan was approved by the Minister for Planning and gazetted in November 2017 under Amendment GC28 to the Mitchell and Whittlesea Planning Schemes.
