What the plan does
The preparation of a Development Plan is a statutory requirement in accordance with the Development Plan Overlay (Schedule 5) of the Whittlesea Planning Scheme.
It includes text and plan components and provides for a road layout and future development parcels.
The Development Plan identifies allotment sizes that will be considered for each part of the site. The ultimate subdivision layout will be subject to a separate subdivision permit application, which must be generally in accordance with the development plan if approved.
Exhibition of the plan
As part of a non-statutory exhibition process, we notified potentially affected property owners/occupiers and relevant Government agencies about the proposed Station Road Precinct Development Plan, and gave them the opportunity to make a submission.
We exhibited the development plan from 19 February to 11 March 2024.
