Online planning application portal

You can use the portal to: 

• submit a new planning permit application
• make amendments to live applications
• amend permits after they’ve been formally issued, or under conditions of your permit
• extend your permit’s commencement or completion time
• submit your conditional plans for assessment and approval
• request a copy of a permit or plans
• request information about a property
• book pre-application meetings
• amend or end the Section 173 Agreements on a title.

The portal makes it faster and easier to submit a planning permit application by: 

• helping you determine if you need a planning permit for the works and/or activities you propose to undertake on your land
• capturing the information you’ve entered as part of your application if you choose to proceed
• displaying lot, zone and overlay information when you enter your address
• telling you what relevant supporting documents you’ll need before you proceed
• enabling you to start your application and save it as a draft. You can update it at any time before you submit
• accepting online payments via BPay or credit card
• enabling you to submit your application and upload any supporting documents. 

Accessing the portal for the first time? Head to the self registration page to create an account. 

If you already have an account, head to the portal and enter your username and password.

Once you submit a planning permit application, you can choose to receive updates via email or SMS.

You can use the portal to manage and track your application at any time, day or night. You can also make online payments and request and manage pre-decision amendments.
