Lalor Neighbourhood House (LNH) is a not-for-profit incorporated association. The association is made up of members who are local people who support the aims and purpose of the association.
Our welcoming, friendly and professional Neighbourhood House, offers a broad variety of activities and classes for members of the community. LNH is registered with the ACFE Board as a Learn Local provider of adult education. Many activities focus on adult education, including English and computers. LNH is very supportive of learners of all ages from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. This includes social groups, art and craft classes, music activities, weekly community lunches, cooking activities with local school students. We offer a Childcare Service, After School Tutoring and Homework club. We also now run the Lalor Creative Hub, a social enterprise and Makers’ Space to engage people of all abilities in creative and social activities which may also generate income for participants through sales at market stalls.
