If you want to keep multiple animals or livestock at your home, you'll need to apply for an Excess Animal Permit.

This permit helps ensure the wellbeing of your pets and prevents inconvenience for neighbours.
The excess animal and livestock permit fee is $107.10
The permit is valid for the lifetime of your property and comes with a one-time fee. No renewal notices will be sent.
We do review these permits annually and will reach out to you if needed.

You must also seek your neighbours' approval before submitting your application.
Please contact your adjoining neighbours and any other people who may be affected and obtain their consent on your form.

The approval process involves an Animal Management officer inspecting your property to ensure compliance. We'll contact you to arrange a time.
