How to use your waste and recycling vouchers
As a City of Whittlesea resident, you can access vouchers for free and discounted waste and recycling disposal. You can use these vouchers at local landfill and recycling facilities when you dispose of household, brick and rubble, green and timber waste.
Vouchers are available online through our Customer Portal. They are valid until 30 June each year.
Accessing your vouchers is easy.
- Create an account on our new customer portal
- Log in to your account
- Enter your City of Whittlesea residential address
- Select the number of vouchers you want to redeem
- Your waste and recycling vouchers will be available within your customer portal any time and will be sent to your email address.
- Visit the waste or recycling facility with your voucher and identification showing your City of Whittlesea residential address.

Who can use the vouchers
Waste and recycling disposal vouchers are for residential use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
Only residents within the City of Whittlesea can use the vouchers.
Proof required
When using the vouchers at a landfill or recycling facility you must provide your voucher and a form of identification with your City of Whittlesea residential address.
If you do not provide proof of address, you may be charged a non-refundable fee by the facility.
Ratepayers who do not live in the City of Whittlesea cannot use the vouchers.

Residential households in the City of Whittlesea can access the following vouchers.
Four vouchers for green waste
These vouchers allow you free disposal of garden waste at our Repurpose It green waste facility in Epping.

These vouchers allow you free disposal of your timber waste at EcoDynamics, Epping.

Two vouchers for brick and rubble waste
These vouchers allow you free disposal of brick and rubble waste such as asphalt, rock and concrete at our Repurpose It brick recycling facility in Epping.

Vouchers are not transferable or redeemable for cash or refund. Vouchers are not available for commercial use.

Please be aware that facility operators may not accept loads larger than the limits listed above or may charge extra.

Terms and conditions for waste and recycling disposal vouchers
Using your voucher
You must present your voucher at the waste and recycling facility.
Proof of residence is required
The resident must attend when using waste and recycling disposal vouchers to drop off materials. Identification is required for proof of residence.
Load limits apply
Waste and recycling facilities are privately owned and operated.
Please be aware that facility operators may not accept loads larger than the limits listed above or may charge extra.
Charges may also apply if you don’t meet conditions and load limits. If you decide to pay for and dispose of materials without using a voucher, we will not issue a refund.
Use valid vouchers
Vouchers expire on 30 June each year.
Annual vouchers are issued on 1 July each year and are available within the customer portal.
Waste and recycling vouchers are for residential use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes. Vouchers are not transferable.
