Please note: All new rubbish bins will have red lids and replacement rubbish bin lids will be red as required under the Victorian Government's Recycling Victoria Policy. We're working towards changing all kerbside rubbish bin lids by 2025 as outlined in our Rethinking Waste Plan 2021-2030.

Public holiday bin collection

Your bins will be picked up on the usual days, including public holidays, with a few exceptions:

  • New Year's Day
  • Good Friday
  • ANZAC Day
  • Christmas Day.

If these holidays are on your usual bin collection day, we'll empty them one day later than usual. This might mean that the rest of the week's bin collection takes place one day later than normal.
