Our volunteer requirements

We value the safety and wellbeing of our community. All of our volunteers are required to:

  • obtain a National Police Check
  • get a Working with Children card
  • have received the COVID-19 vaccination.

We provide orientation and training sessions to ensure your volunteering experience is both fulfilling and safe.

Social Connections Group Activity Volunteer – Musician/Singer

We’re currently seeking enthusiastic community members who play a musical instrument to play music on a regular basis as part of our Social Connections Program.

The Social Connections program is an opportunity for residents over the age of 65 to connect with others over a range of activities.

The right person will be able to lead interactive group music and singing sessions to program participants with the support of staff.

You will need to be available:

  • Mondays from 12 pm in Mernda, and/or 
  • Thursdays from 10 am in Thomastown.
