Annual Art Exhibition – Hope: Exploring the Spectrum of Possibility
Next date: Friday, 17 January 2025 | 10:00 AM
to 04:00 PM
Each year, Council hosts an art exhibition to showcase and celebrate the work of artists who live, work or are connected to communities within the City of Whittlesea.
This year, our theme is ‘Hope: Exploring the Spectrum of Possibility’.
Artists are invited to reflect on hope, from feeling low to very positive, from personal wishes to collective or shared goals, and all the moments in between.
Show us your visions of a better future, your dreams of a perfect world, and your hopes for change. How does hope guide us? How does it help us stay strong during tough times? How does it make us resilient? Does hope last forever? Is hope what makes us human? How do you show and respond to this in your art?
Applications are now closed.
The exhibition will run from Friday 17 January to Friday 7 February 2025.
