Australian Bush Comfort and Confidence Workshop

Join the City of Whittlesea, Rob Richards, Emma Swann and the team from 'Its Naturally You' for Australian Bush Comfort and Confidence, an interactive and fun session helping you to enjoy the outdoors. The free 2-hour session will equip you with the skills to step out into the bush within the City of Whittlesea and beyond. We’ll show, discuss and role-play the wondrous, bizarre, humorous and inviting culture and landscape of the Australian bush. 

Topics will include: 

• introduction to the Australian Bush, with a local City of Whittlesea lens
• your local Conservation Reserves
• bush culture
• skills and preparation
• bush safety
• where to find help.

Register and come along with your friends or family and start exploring the City of Whittlesea landscapes.

We will be running these sessions from the Riverside Community Centre but will also be going for a small walk, so best to wear appropriate warm clothing and sturdy shoes.
