Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated on the 15 day of the eight month in the Chinese Lunar calendar, which is the autumn season in China.

Chinese community all round the world will celebrate this festival with family and friends with the taste of moon cake of various flavours.

Whittlesea Chinese Association will hold its Mid-Autumn festival at Barry Road Activity Community Centre in Thomastown on 14 September from 7:00 pm.

Come and enjoy the celebration with song and dance performances from other communities.

Children will get to parade their candle lighted lanterns and the community will be able to get the taste of moon cakes.

No registration needed.

This is a community-run event.
