Conservation Walk and Talk: Hiking with Kids
Next date: Sunday, 04 May 2025 | 09:30 AM
to 11:00 AM
Join Eco Explorers founder and forest school leader Adam for a fun bushwalk exploring and discovering Granite Hills.
We'll be enjoying a scavenger hunt and some games along the way, as well as finding bugs and learning all about the plants and animals. We may even spot a kangaroo or two.
Granite Hills is part of Quarry Hills Parkland and is a beautiful area of natural landscape. The track is dirt and steep so you will need to have a moderate fitness level, but we will take it slow. We’ll stop to climb the majestic rocks and take in the beautiful views of the city while enjoying some morning tea.
Eco Explorers have a passion for sustainability and experience in outdoor education and children’s nature play. Wear sturdy shoes, a hat and bring water.
Suitable for ages 3+
