Early Years cultural responsiveness training
This session explores cultural responsiveness practice in early learning and the importance of building a meaningful relationship with children and families that promotes and protects their cultural dignity.
Join us to explore strategies and approaches that focus on establishing and strengthening relationships with newly arrived families, while understanding barriers to engagement.
Our approach is tailored, interactive and engaging. We build containers of caretaking to support participants to move into courageous spaces of learning.
Our trainers are skilled and experienced practitioners who draw on their years of professional experiences.
Learning Outcomes:
- An understanding of the impact of the settlement experience from a new arrival’s perspective and an understanding of the challenges for children and families
- Increased awareness of strategies to foster cultural safety and an inclusive environment, inclusive of exploring stereotypes and bias.
Bookings are essential.
