Thomastown Neighbourhood House
Thomastown Neighbourhood House engages with the community to advance social and public welfare. They provide support to the disadvantaged, advance mental health and prevent social isolation by providing a safe and welcoming space with activities and events for the community.
Activities are provided at no cost to the community and are attended by up to 200 community members per week.
Thomastown Neighbourhood House is located in the heart of Thomastown on the site of Thomastown Library and next door to Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre.
Programs
Thomastown Neighbourhood House offers a range of programs including:
- playgroups
- support groups
- classes
- food relief
- Community Help Clinic
- social enterprise coffee cart
- meditation
- introduction to computers
- introduction to office skills
- introduction to social media.
