Mill Park All Abilities Play Space and Splash Park

Playground

The play space includes:

  • multiple play areas including a junior play, a multi-age accessible play, a sensory play, a water play, a sand play and a teen to young adult zone
  • play equipment and structures, targeting different ages and abilities, each focused on meeting physical and cognitive development through play
  • full-sized basketball court line-marked for multiple sports and spectator seating  
  • barbecues, picnic facilities and drinking fountains
  • an accessible toilet block including a Changing Places facility with shower provisions, two accessible cubicles and two ambulant cubicles.

Water Play activities

The Water Play area includes a splash pad with shooting jets, misting rings, accessible water play tables and manual water pumps.

Water Play operating hours

The mist rings, water jets and bubblers in the water play area operate from 8 am to 8 pm during the warmer months (typically mid-November to mid-March).

The water play pumps and tables operate all year round.

Hours

The park and playground are open 24 hours a day, however the toilets and other play and security features operate within restricted hours.
