South Morang Recreation Reserve

The park and playground at Riverside Reserve in South Morang has undergone a massive $898,000 redevelopment.

The new playground features a range of attractions designed to appeal to children of all ages and abilities, including:

Swing set with junior and toddler seats
Standalone birds nest swing set
Inclusive roundabout/spinning carousel which can accommodate wheelchairs and up to six users at a time
Balance beams and tunnels
Large play tower with inclined rope play and tunnel slide
Monkey bars
25m flying fox
Nature play area including vertical and horizontal log steppers, balance log runners and two log teepees
Basketball half court
Connected walking paths
A shelter, barbecue and picnic settings
New trees and landscaping.
