Park access request

If you're planning works that require accessing your land through a public park or open space, you'll need a permit. This includes moving materials or machinery through a park to get to your property.

The permit process helps us to protect our assets, while ensuring the site is managed safely and public disruptions are minimised.

Request access to an open space

Step 1.Complete the online form

Please include the following on your application:

  • name, phone number and email address of the property owner or representative of the company requesting access approval
  • address of the house or unit
  • site plans detailing works to be done
  • name of the park you require access through
  • details of the assets of the spaces you are accessing
  • date works are due to start and end
  • any vehicles involved in the works e.g. ute, truck etc.
  • public liability insurance, Traffic Management Plan and Construction Management Plan (depending on works)
  • a copy of your courtesy letter so we can approve it before you let neighbours know about full road closures and or restricted vehicle access
  • building or planning permit details if applicable.
