Advocating for our community

As one of Melbourne's 10 outer 'Interface Councils', the City of Whittlesea and our community face challenges such as rapid population growth, lack of infrastructure, high demand for services, social disadvantage and balancing the needs of our rural and urban areas. It is essential that the City of Whittlesea keep the needs and services of our growing community in mind in all future strategic planning activities. This will ensure our community remains connected and are able to access essential services including health, education and employment opportunities close to home.
