Edgars Creek Community Centre construction

The Edgars Creek Community Centre will be part of an education and community precinct in Epping North. The community education precinct at Edgars Creek will be a high quality, fully integrated precinct catering for the education, active recreation, social and community service need, for the local community.

What's included

This project will see the construction of

  • Triple unit kindergarten
  • Double unit MCH and visiting services consult suite
  • Community room and kitchenette
  • Reception desk
  • Combined staff room/kitchen

Both four and three-year-old kindergarten programs will be provided.

Kindergarten information

You can enrol your child for four-year-old kindergarten through Council’s Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme Enrolments. The three-year-old kindergarten program will be managed by the kindergarten provider.

Council will conduct an Expression of Interest for a kindergarten provider early 2019. Details will be posted on the Kindergarten page on our website in due course. 

Edgars Creek Community Centre is a working title only. A permanent community centre name will be chosen at a later date in consultation with community.

Maternal and Child Health Services

The Maternal and Child Health Service (MCH) is free and available for all families with children from newborn to school age.

Families can call 9404 8888 to enrol into the MCH service and make appointments. Service providers wishing to connect with MCH can call and speak with a Coordinator.

  • Department of Education and Training grant: $1,649,311
  • Total Project Cost: $6,800,011
