Mill Park Library upgrade

Mill Park Library was built in 2002. Since then, there have been lots of changes to how the library is used. The Library is receiving an upgrade to help meet community needs.

Project details

The works include:

  • Making spaces more open and flexible
  • Updating the furniture and interior
  • Adding a new external deck
  • Improving the children’s area, maker space and café facilities

Cost

The project has been funded by the State Government's Living Libraries fund ($560,000) and the City of Whittlesea ($376,000).

Timeline

Mill Park Library will be closed until 1 July 2019.

During this time, you can borrow and return books to Thomastown Library, located at 52 Main Street.
