Don’t forget your pets!

Don’t forget your pets!

Tuesday, April 04, 2023

Ensuring your pet is registered with Council greatly improves their chances of being returned to you if they become lost.

Pet registration is an important part of responsible pet ownership and helps ensure that lost pets can be quickly reunited with their owners.

Annual pet registration notices have been sent to cat and dog owners in the City of Whittlesea with payment due 9 April 2023.

All cats and dogs must be registered with us from 3 months of age. A range of registration fees applies depending on if you are eligible for reduced fees or hold a pension card and if your pet has been desexed.

If you did not receive a registration renewal notice or if you've recently moved and need to update your contact details - contact Council by emailing animal.management@whittlesea.vic.gov.au.
