Whittlesea Disability Network Hub

Whittlesea Disability Network Hub

Thursday, February 09, 2023

To ensure the voices of our residents with disabilities are being heard, the City of Whittlesea has launched the Whittlesea Disability Network (WDN) Hub.

The WDN Hub is an online space where people with disability, their carers and support network, as well as disability service providers, can provide feedback to Council on what people with disability need to live independently and safely in the community.

“Ensuring we have easy-to-use avenues of communication with people with disability and their community is a crucial aspect of our Whittlesea 2040 vision – to create a place for all,” said Administrator Peita Duncan of the launch.

“Providing this online space will help us better understand the needs of this group of people in our community and allow them to have their say.”

Visit www.engage.whittlesea.vic.gov.au/wdnonline to access the WDN Hub and find information on the Whittlesea Disability Network.

The WDN Hub provides opportunities for people to comment on and find out about:

  • Access to local spaces and places
  • Disability services and support needs
  • Council services and programs supporting people with disability and carers
  • Anything else about living with disability in the community.
