Highlights

Rag Roping: Create beautifully textured coasters or baskets from scrap fabric that was destined to landfill.

In this workshop participants will learn how easy it is to turn scraps of fabric into a fabric rag rope before turning it into a coaster or basket with a simple blanket stitch.

Participants don’t need to bring anything other than their willingness to learn and enjoy stepping into a world of mindful and therapeutic creativity.

We also have a basket weaving book to give away thanks to The Social Grocer.

We invite participants and the wider community to take up the opportunity to also drop off any unwanted textiles on the day and we will ensure it stays out of landfill.
