Amendment C245wsea to the Whittlesea Planning Scheme – Heritage controls at 90 and 100 Bindts Road, Wollert

Amendment C245wsea proposes to apply the Heritage Overlay on a permanent basis to land at 90 Bindts Road, Wollert, and amend the existing heritage controls at 100 Bindts Road, Wollert.

What area does the amendment apply to?

The amendment applies to privately owned land at 90 and 100 Bindts Road, Wollert as shown below. 

What changes are proposed?

The amendment proposes the following changes to the Whittlesea Planning Scheme:

  • Amend the Schedule to Clause 43.01 (Heritage Overlay) and Planning Scheme Maps 17HO to apply the Heritage Overlay to 90 Bindts Road, Wollert.
  • Amend the Schedule to Clause 43.01 (Heritage Overlay) for existing HO161 at 100 Bindts Road to replace the name ‘Farmhouse’ with ‘Bindts Farm’.
  • Amend the Schedule to Clause 72.04 (Documents incorporated in this planning scheme) to incorporate statements of significance for the individual places proposed for inclusion in the Heritage Overlay:
    • Ewert’s Farm, 90 Bindts Road, Wollert, Statement of Significance, May 2020
    • Bindts Farm, 100 Bindts Road, Wollert, Statement of Significance, May 2020

Amendment C245wsea is currently being exhibited until 5 March 2021.
