The City of Whittlesea acknowledges that the whole community has been affected by the pandemic. In response, Council has re-imagined some of the community grants into COVID Response Funding, a suite of three community grant programs to support community connectedness.
On Wednesday 26 August, Council held our first online Grants Information Session. You can find the recorded session below. If you have any questions not answered here or would like to attend our next information session please contact the Community Development Grants.
The Equipment Grant Program is offered as part of Council’s COVID Response Funding. This grant program is a one-time only opportunity which provides financial assistance of up to $1,000 to not-for-profit groups to cover equipment purchases and operational costs that support the applicant’s COVID recovery activities and beyond.
The Community Group Support Grant Program is a one-time only opportunity provided as part of Council’s COVID Response Funding. Funding of up to $2,000 is available to support community groups to reconnect with each other by resuming pre-COVID activities or transitioning to new ways of operating (e.g. online activities).
The Reconnection Grant Program is offered as part of Council’s COVID Response Funding. Financial assistance of up to $5,000 is available to support community projects and events which support the wider City of Whittlesea community to reconnect as COVID restrictions are lifted.
