Our Access Team supports people with disabilities, their carers, disability support agencies and businesses, to ensure people with disabilities can fully participate in the community.

If you have a disability our Access Team can tell you about:

  • how to speak up about things you are concerned about
  • what is happening in our community relating to people with disabilities and their families/carers
  • where you can get support
  • what we are doing to improve things for people with disability
  • Whittlesea Disability Network

For a community group, business or organisation

Our Access Team can also:

  • provide information about communicating with people with disability
  • provide information so your group or organisation can be more inclusive and accessible to all

How to make a discrimination complaint

Disability discrimination is when a person with a disability is treated less favourably than a person without a disability in the same or similar circumstances.
