Youth gambling harm awareness campaign

We're seeking young people aged 16-25 to help us design a gambling harm prevention and awareness campaign! Participants will be reimbursed $25 per hour and will have the opportunity to learn, get creative and develop their skills.

Why get involved?

• Meet new people in the community

• Learn and develop campaign-building skills

• Get reimbursed $25 per hour (we will help set up payments)

• Work on a meaningful project that will assist young people in your municipality

Workshops will run weekly or fortnightly from April (face-to-face or online). Email our Youth Officer, Jansu at baseline@whittlesea.vic.gov.au by 2 April explaining why you’re interested in joining this project in a couple of sentences. No experience necessary!

The City of Whittlesea has previously partnered with the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation on important community projects like this one. We teamed up with AFL Premiership player for Western Bulldogs, Easton Wood to promote this campaign. Head to our youth social media page to see the video we made with Easton.
