Kelynack Recreation Reserve

Kelynack Recreation Reserve in Mill Park is a 5.7-hectare reserve located in an established urban area of the municipality.

We have recently transformed it into a key sports and open space reserve for the local community.

Our aim, guided by the Kelynack Reserve Master Plan, was to create a safe and inclusive, highly accessible reserve that supports and encourages use by people of all ages and abilities

Stage 1 is now complete

In the first stage of the master plan we relocated and upgraded the playground and built a new multi-use area.

The playground is now open and ready for use. The upgrade included:

• a new playground with natureplay and flying fox
• two new shelters with barbecue facilities
• a basketball half-court
• table tennis table
• upgrades to paths and improved entrance from Blossom Park Drive.
